Pattern: Kwik Sew K0238 Quilted Pot Holders

I picked up a bunch of Kwik Sew accessory patterns when they were on sale the other day to make some fun little projects for kids. These adorable kitchen mittens are perfect if you have some little chefs in the house.

It’s a great way to introduce kids to sewing while combining them with something fun like baking! I think it’s a win, win for parents!

I made two out of the three designs on this pattern but once you get the general layout of the front you could easily create and applique your own face onto them.

It was certainly a quick, easy and fun project to make, I highly recommend to all parents. Or if you have nieces or nephews like I have, it would make the perfect gift!

Happy Sewing!

I recently went to Bali and the whole idea was to get some surf lessons, while having a tropical beach holiday of course! Unfortunately the week before we went there was an offshore cyclone and the waves ended up being 14ft! Way too big to learn in. However, I still made myself a brand new tote bag to take with me to the beach and poolside.
